STUDENTS:  

 

We have many MANY items in the lost and found in the office: including a suitcase, lunchboxes, coats, watches, rings, etc. If you have lost something, please come by and check to see if we have it.

 

 

The Readers & Writers club will meet today after school in room 1509.

 

 

The May Students of the Month are reminded to get their lunches in the office after 11:00 on Thurs., May 1st.  They also need to get their pictures made promptly at 7:50 on Thurs. in the yearbook room across from the office. 

 

 

The TCHS Peer Leadership Team (formerly known as PRIDE) is taking applications.  Our Peer Leader team is a group of committed students who support other students, promote healthy lifestyles, and work to make positive changes at our school.  If you are interested in applying, please see Mrs. Bishop or Ms. Holsomback to pick up an application. 

 

 

TCHS Volleyball try-outs will be Monday, April 28th from 4-6 pm in the gym. Anyone who is interested in trying out must have an up to date physical before they will be allowed to participate. Also those interested in trying out

must pick up a packet from Coach Livingston in room 1311.

 

 

Any student interested in running cross country next year needs to see Coach Martin in room 1404 to pick up your packets.

 

 

Any student interested in playing football and is not already in Boys Athletics, please see Coach Gibson in the lunchroom today.

 

 

Freshmen: It’s the final quarter of the 2013- 2014 academic school year and you have been challenged to

“Race to the Finish Line”, successfully. The Career Prep class with the least absences, tardies, and discipline referrals and that has completed the most classwork and homework wins an additional free period. The race is broken up into 10-day challenges, each one starting with a clean slate. The second challenge is currently underway. See Ms. Lawson, TCHS promotion coach, for more information.

 

 

Any student interested in CHOM’s teen leadership program may pick up an application from Ms. Hollingsworth in the counseling suite.  Applicants must be at least 14 years old and be willing to volunteer at least eight hours a week and two weekend shifts a month. 

                                                                                                                                                      

 

AP Students: Please come by Ms. Thompson’s office in the counseling suite to pick up your AP Exam Fee Sheets.

 

 
Seniors: 

 

- Shelton State is giving the COMPASS test to high school students after school at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 28. Students must schedule an appointment to test with the Shelton State Counseling Center and have a student number to use.
