  • Congratulations to Amaya McNealey and Nick Macon for being selected in the Minority Journalism Program at the University of Alabama. These students will attend a week-long all-expenses paid workshop at the University in which they will travel the state of Alabama to cover stories and study journalism. Only 16 students were selected throughout the entire nation and competition was fierce this year. TCHS has two students from our school selected to attend while other schools have only one representative. It is a huge honor to be accepted in this program. Congratulations Amaya and Nick!
